We were very sorry to hear of the death of Meriol Penn, who was a pupil at the Perse Girls School in Cambridge during the Second World War years and beyond.

In March, teams from our two Junior Schools, Fitzwilliam Building and Dame Bradbury’s, came together in the Fitzwilliam Hall for the culmination of this year’s STEM Competition: the final judging event, with the teams’ projects being assessed by our guest judge, Dr Hugh Shercliff of Cambridge University’s Engineering Department.
Six deliciously dark stories from the Brothers Grimm were expertly performed by our Year 9 cast who incorporated a mix of storytelling techniques, puppetry and ensemble work to create a visual feast of imagery.
