The Stephen Perse Foundation, Costello Medical and the North Cambridge Academy (NCA) are working together to tackle inequalities in Cambridge. The partnership gives young people the opportunities and skills to succeed through curriculum expansion, bursaries and work experience.
Last term, 2A enjoyed a wonderful visit to the Fitzwilliam Museum as part of their 'Paint me a Picture' theme.
Students from Stephen Perse have won glory in the Cambridge Classical Association Reading Competition: Florence B, Aleyna T, Henry M, Poppy S, Ilaria S and Naomi S bagged a total of five first prizes and three second prizes between them.
During the spring term, we have seen the welcome return of the Junior Schools STEM Competition, between teams of Year 5 and 6 pupils from the Fitzwilliam Building and Dame Bradbury’s.
Ms Sarah Coates is currently a Real Estate Partner for Penningtons Manches Cooper (PMC) having previously worked as a partner with Thomson Webb and Corfield and Everheds.
The main highlight of the musical year is the Spring Concert at West Road Concert Hall, and this year’s concert, on Monday 14 March, featured more than a hundred student performers.
Last term, Jo Whitmore from the Art department at Stephen Perse has been working with a group of nine Year 10 students from North Cambridge Academy (NCA) with their GCSE Art project based on the theme of ‘Natural Forms’.
On Friday 4 March Ms Katie Benbow, a former Perse Girl graduating in 2000, came to the Senior School to deliver an Inspire and Guide talk to our Year 10 and 11 students.
On Friday 25 February Kosi Nwuba, Medical student and President of CUAFC at the University of Cambridge, came to the Senior School and gave an Inspire and Guide talk to our Year 10 and 11 students.
2022 marks the 500 year anniversary of Dame Bradbury’s School in Saffron Walden, which is part of the Stephen Perse Foundation award-winning family of schools across Cambridge and Saffron Walden.

All Year 4, across the Foundation from Dame Bradbury’s and Fitzwilliam Building, were treated to a fantastic sunny trip to Colchester Zoo.
On Friday 11 March Dame Bradbury’s U11 Girls Football Team travelled to Thamesmead in Kent to take part in the English Schools Football Association (ESFA) South East Region Tournament.
History Week was launched with an assembly led by former Head Mistress Katie Milne- she presented an enlightening history of our school and gave special house gifts to every pupil. Each year group had museum visits, speakers, competitions and quizzes to fill their week.
Last week the Stephen Perse Foundation Development Department launched a Ukraine Humanitarian Appeal in conjunction with the British Red Cross.
Parents, friends and family were treated to a wonderful performance based on Robin Hood by Year 5 on Friday 11 March.
