  • Hyacinth tradition marks the 140th birthday of the Foundation

    Despite the pandemic and the restrictions that this has imposed, Rosemary Tice (Geography and Biology teacher, 1965-1990) and Katie Milne (Junior School teacher, 1979-2006 and then Head of Junior School 2006 - 2019) marked the 140th birthday of the Foundation by organising the delivery of a hyacinth.

  • Senior School pupils secure places in elite netball programmes

    Many congratulations to five of our year 11 netball team,  and 2 of our former pupils now in year 12, who have successfully secured a place in the Mavericks Futures Academy in Cambridge. Also, to another year 11 student who has joined Bedford Mavericks and a year 10 pupil who has joined the Pulse netball franchise.

  • Autumn term production of Little Shop of Horrors

    In the last week of November, our Year 10, 11 and 12 casts gave truly fabulous final performances of their extracts of ‘Little Shop of Horrors’. We are so, so proud of all the performers, musicians, crew and creatives who have worked with such enthusiasm throughout this challenging term and who have together achieved such amazing results.

  • Sixth Form medicine, dentistry and veterinary applicants participate in mock interviews

    Students applying to medical, veterinary and dentistry schools now have to participate in multiple interviews at many universities when they are called for an interview. Known as ‘Multiple Mini’s’ (MMI) these normally represent around 10 different tests or stations as part of the interview process, designed to assess a range of skills in everything from dexterity to ethics.

  • The Sixth Form travels back in time to the 70s to raise money for East Anglia’s Children’s Hospices!

    On Friday 23 October, the Sixth Form held a 1970s-themed dress-up day to fundraise for East Anglia’s Children’s Hospices (EACH), a local charity that provides care and support for children with life-threatening conditions and their families across Cambridge, Essex, Norfolk and Suffolk.

  • Boarding students enjoy a wide variety of exciting activities this term
